Lyle Weir

Lyle is the Managing Director and sole Financial Adviser of the firm, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the financial planning industry. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), he is committed to upholding the highest professional and ethical standards while delivering strategic, tailored advice to his clients.
Lyle is responsible for overseeing the firm’s strategic direction and advice philosophy. In consultation with a panel of research specialists, he sets and monitors the firm’s investment strategy, ensuring client portfolios are constructed and managed in line with sound research, disciplined methodology, and long-term objectives. His considered and evidence-based approach provides clients with confidence and clarity in an ever-changing economic environment.
He provides comprehensive personal advice across all facets of financial planning, including superannuation, retirement planning, personal insurance, wealth accumulation, and Centrelink matters. Lyle takes pride in developing long-term relationships with clients, taking the time to understand their individual circumstances, goals, and aspirations before delivering clear, practical, and personalised strategies.
Known for his integrity, professionalism, and measured guidance, Lyle is dedicated to helping clients make informed financial decisions and achieve greater certainty about their financial future.

Courtney Taylor

OPERATIONS MANAGER
Courtney brings over 20 years of experience in the financial planning industry, with a strong focus on operational excellence and client-centric business practices.
As Operations Manager at PFG for the past seven years, Courtney oversees the core pillars of the business, including human resources and people management, business and advice compliance, and information technology. She also serves as the primary liaison between PFG and product providers, as well as managing relationships with outsourced service partners. Her leadership ensures the firm operates efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with industry best practice.
Courtney holds a Bachelor of Business (Commerce) and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, complementing her extensive practical experience with strong academic foundations.
Her overarching goal is to enhance the client experience by ensuring seamless business operations. By implementing effective systems and adopting innovative tools, Courtney works to create a frictionless advice journey and streamlined back-office processes that support both advisers and clients.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, playing hockey and golf, running, and following her beloved St Kilda Saints.
Sebastian Lindemann

PARAPLANNER
Sebastian has worked in the financial planning industry for a number of years and brings extensive technical knowledge and experience to his role as Paraplanner. He plays a critical role in the advice process, taking responsibility for the preparation and management of all advice documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
With a strong understanding of legislative requirements and strategy implementation, Sebastian works closely with advisers to develop well-structured and tailored recommendations that align with clients’ individual goals and circumstances. His attention to detail and commitment to quality help ensure a smooth and efficient advice experience for every client.
In addition to preparing advice documentation, Sebastian provides valuable support with Centrelink matters, assisting clients in navigating eligibility requirements, applications, and ongoing reporting obligations. His thorough approach and client-focused mindset help simplify complex processes and provide reassurance during what can often be a challenging area of financial planning.
Sebastian is highly regarded for his professionalism, reliability, and dedication to delivering high-quality outcomes for both clients and the advisory team.
Priorities when not at work: family – three young boys, classic cars and motor bikes
Dream holiday destinations: Return to some of my favourite spots in Europe including Southern France and Tuscany, take the boys to the Rocky Mountains
Michelle Anthony

Michelle has worked in the financial planning industry since 2002 and brings over two decades of diverse experience across a variety of industry roles. Having been part of the PFG team since 2009, she is a long-standing and highly valued member of the organisation.
In her role within compliance administration, Michelle is responsible for supporting and maintaining the firm’s internal compliance processes. She ensures that documentation, procedures, and records are accurate, up to date, and aligned with current regulatory requirements and professional standards. Her methodical approach and strong understanding of industry obligations contribute significantly to the smooth and efficient operation of the practice.
Michelle is widely recognised for her exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. She works diligently behind the scenes to help uphold best practice standards and provide essential administrative support to advisers and the broader team. Her thoroughness and reliability play an important role in maintaining the integrity and consistency of the firm’s advice processes.

Kim Godwin

Kim joined our team in 2016, bringing with her extensive experience from several boutique financial planning firms, where she worked in back-office operations and client administration roles. Her strong industry knowledge and attention to detail enable her to deliver exceptional administrative and client service support to both advisers and clients.
Priorities when not at work: Spending time with her little family and going to the gym.
